Tree removal for Canton homes
When a tree is dead, leaning, or too close to the house, we take it down in a way that fits your lot. Many Canton-area yards are tight, so removals often go in sections rather than in one drop.
Signs a tree may need to come down
Dead or dying. No leaves in season, bark falling away, or brittle limbs.
A lean that’s new. Especially with soil lifting at the base.
Cracks or splits. Where limbs join the trunk or down the trunk itself.
Decay at the base. Mushrooms, soft wood, or hollow sections.
Ash trees. Emerald ash borer has been confirmed in all 88 Ohio counties, and the Ohio Department of Natural Resources says most of Ohio’s mature ash trees are dead or dying. Dead ash turns brittle.
Silver maples. Ohio’s tree field guide lists silver maple as prone to storm damage and limb breakage.
How removals are done
Open drop
Where there is room, the tree is felled whole.
Climb and section
Where there isn’t, pieces are lowered by rope.
Equipment
Some sites need added equipment. The estimate says so.
What goes into the price
Size of the tree
What’s below it (roof, fence, pool, beds)
Access for people and equipment
Wood hauled away or left on site
Stump grinding as an add-on
Every yard is different, so we don’t post price ranges. Send the address and photos and you’ll get a written estimate.
